December WOW - 12/23/05 - Hosted By Adam & Cindy Styles

WOW! An exclamation of discovery and Joy!!

This is the Ninth (!!) Annual Christmas Caroling Party. We're going to hold it at our neighborhood community center this year due to the size of the expected group. They'll be enough room for indoor practice and impromptu dancing.

Manchester Farms Community Center Location: 13851 Hopkins Rd, Germantown, MD:

The last couple of years we've averaged about 40 to 50 people. We plan to sing in a couple of the surrounding neighborhoods.

We'll start organizing at 6:30pm. Not everyone goes out to sing. Some people stay behind and eat cookies.

Please dress warm and bring a flashlight. We have music. We'll have people from our daughter's high school chorus, the Damascus theater company, our old and new neighborhood friends, relatives, and friends from SCUU.

Our repertoire usually consists 0f -- Jingle Bells, Silent Night, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Santa Baby, Deck the Halls, etc. We're Spontaneous and Eclectic of course!

We try to sing one or two verses of one or two songs at each house we visit.

Hot Chocolate, Coffee, Tea and snacks will be offered. We'll send out an evite so we can get an idea of how many hot drinks we need to make. If you want to bring something we suggest cookies!

This year we hope to have some Hanukkah songs too, that we will learn when we sing on 12/20/05 at the Senior Center.

Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas!
