Sugarloaf Road Conditions 1/24/14

Drove by this morning. No snow blocks the entrance at 118. The cold has kept the snow dry and well packed and not deep. I did not skid or slip as i drove up to the upper parking lot. The snow is cleared off the road just before the final hill to the upper parking lot.

Took a picture this morning looking back towards the bend in the road leading back to 118.

Think it's ok to use for tomorrow morning.

Two or Three Inches of snow but mainly packed powder. I remember thinking when it was 50 degrees about 5 minutes ago "How do the Ski slopes around here stay in business?" When it's 5 degress I don't think about that as much.
